CHAPTER 9-200
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS IN AREAS
AFFECTED WITH A PUBLIC INTEREST

9-201 Areas Affected with a Public Interest. Drive-in theatres, drive-in restaurants, school parking lots, and private parking lots, conducted for commercial purposes or in conjunction with any business enterprise are hereby declared to be affected with a public interest.

9-202 Speed Limit. No person shall operate a motor vehicle in any such place affected with a public interest at a speed greater than is safe and reasonable under the conditions of traffic then existing and in no event shall any person operate a motor vehicle in such place at a speed in excess of 15 miles per hour.

9-203 Traffic Control Signs. The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to post such signs at any entrances to such places affected with a public purpose which may designate one-way traffic for entrance or exit or may require stopping before entrance upon the public street and the driver of any vehicle entering or leaving any such place shall comply with any signs so posted.
