Coon Rapids Historical Commission

The Historical Commission acts as an advisory board to the City Council in matters relating to the preservation of buildings and lands which possess historical significance and recommends to the Council means of recognizing and recording historical events. The Historical Commission meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

Minnesota Statutes 471.701 requires that "a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest paid employees." For the City of Coon Rapids, titles and salaries as of July 1, 2008 are: City Manager- $127,352; Public Services Director- $124,296; Chief of Police- $119,891. Posted: July 1, 2008
