Q: Is there a golf course in Coon Rapids?

A: The City operates Bunker Hills Golf Course located at Main Street and Foley Boulevard. There is a 27 hole championship course and a 9 hole executive course. Tee times are available by calling 763-755-4141 (press 2) or Teemaster at 952-525-7800. 

Q: Is there indoor ice available in Coon Rapids?

A: The City of Coon Rapids owns and operates Cook Ice Arena, 11091 Mississippi Boulevard (763-421-5035). The City also owns a sheet of ice at the Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine (763-785-3687).

Q: How can I learn about the parks and facilities in the City?

A: A parks system brochure is available which lists the locations and available facilities of 46 parks in the City. Call 763-767-6462.

Q:  How can I reserve a park facility?

A:  Call 763-767-6462 during regular office hours to learn availability and rates.

Q.  How can I enroll my child in youth sports?

A:  Call the Coon Rapids Athletic Association (CRAA) at 763-757-8359.

Q: Is there a skateboard facility available?

A: There are free skateboard parks at Sand Creek Park, located on Northdale Boulevard between Hanson and Foley Boulevards, Cook Ice Arena, 11091 Mississippi Blvd and Riverwind Park, 2710 Northdale Blvd.
