Background on the Green Expo:

The Green Expo started in 2010 as a partnership between the City of Coon Rapids and the Sustainability Commission.  The Sustainability Commission is made up of Coon Rapids residents who have an interest in the environment and sustainable living practices for the future.  The Green Expo is a community event designed to give the public a better understanding of what “sustainability” really means.  By bringing together local businesses, environmental experts and representatives who work in the areas of conservation, the Sustainability Commission strives to educate the public on the many environmental topics that affect our everyday lives.
