Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2018 Night to Unite! We had 120 registered parties in the city with over 3,500 residents participating! Our officers enjoyed visiting with the public and we encourage you to continue those great conversations with your neighbors and help look out for each other. Check back again April 1, 2019 to register your part for the 2019 event which will take place August 6, 2019.

Block Party Requests
If you would like your street blocked off for a block party, you must fill out the block party request form here.
Night to Unite (formerly known as National Night Out) is designed to:
Generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs.
Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods celebrate Night to Unite with a variety of events and activities such as:

Night to Unite has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. The benefits your community will derive from Night to Unite will most certainly extend well beyond the night.
