Waste

Best practices for sustainable water management include:

  • Install native landscapes
  • Water your lawn early in the morning
  • Put shut-off nozzles on hoses
  • Collect rain in a water barrel for reuse
  • Use a broom instead of a hose to clean off surfaces

Transportation

There are many sustainable ways to get around your neighborhood and the city.
