A heads up if you use Highway 610. MnDOT started a road preservation project on Thursday night and the work will continue for about a week.
A thin coating of asphalt is being laid on Highway 610 between Highway 252 and the Highway 10 pedestrian bridge. The work is being done overnights between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
MnDOT says motorists will encounter periodic lane closures and short-term full closures so be prepared to find an alternative route.
