Allina Health selected Coon Rapids for the site of its new Customer Experience Center. Expected to open in mid-2019, the building will centralize Allina Health call centers and integrate phone and digital capabilities into one location. A dedicated Customer Experience Center will make it easier to navigate the health care system and improve access to care and overall customer experience. By 2020, the center will employ up to 500 people.
“The Customer Experience Center allows us to reimagine the traditional call center into a hub of innovation that will help us keep pace with changing communication preferences and technologies,” said David Slowinske, senior vice president, Allina Health Group Operations.
The new center, located at 8880 Evergreen Boulevard, Coon Rapids, provides more than 58,000 square feet of space that will be remodeled to accommodate the entire Customer Experience Center team in a facility with state-of-the-art technology. The center is scheduled to start taking calls by April 2019, with the remainder of the transition planned in phases throughout 2019.
Coon Rapids Mayor Jerry Koch says, “The City is proud to welcome the new Allina Health Customer Experience Center to Coon Rapids. The location at 8880 Evergreen Blvd. is the perfect complement to Allina Health’s other nearby health campuses, Mercy Hospital – Mercy Campus to the north and the Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus in Fridley. Allina Health is the city’s largest employer and we are excited to see the continued growth with 500 employees working out of this facility.”
