Construction continues on the new transit-oriented apartment development next to the Riverdale Transit Station on Northdale Boulevard. This new development, known as Riverdale Station, includes two buildings - “Nova," a 71-unit mixed-income building and “Lyra," a 180-unit market rate building.
Pre-leasing for Nova apartments kicked off in early June, and the building is now over 85% leased. The market-rate building, Lyra, will open in early 2020 with pre-leasing set to begin later this fall of 2019. Floor plans include studios, alcoves, one bedrooms, one bedrooms + den, two bedrooms, and three bedrooms ranging from 572 to 1,444 square feet. Lyra will offer expansive amenities including a large outdoor pool and amenity deck, sports simulator, private dog run, and high-end finishes featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-home washer and dryer.
Located next to the Riverdale Transit Station on the NorthStar Commuter Rail line, and just one block from Riverdale Commons shopping center, this development will offer direct access to Downtown Minneapolis and it offers a convenient location to many restaurants, retail, entertainment and recreation options in Coon Rapids.
