Openings Available for City Commissions

Join a Commission

Looking to help the community in the new year? Consider helping out on a City Commission.

Citizen participation in community affairs is vital to the progress of the city. The City Council appoints citizens who serve voluntarily on advisory boards and commissions of the City.

The City Council has established many different advisory commissions and committees that are formed for particular reasons, which meet on a regular basis to address important issues to our community.

The City currently has openings on the following commissions:

  • Arts Commission
  • Board of Adjustment and Appeals
  • Parks and Recreation
  • Safety
  • Sustainability

Learn more about each commission and how you can help on the City website.

Interested volunteers are required to fill out a Commission Application Form, also available on the City website.
