Coon Creek Watershed District Board

The City of Coon Rapids is now accepting the names of people interested in serving on the Coon Creek Watershed Board of Managers. Names of interested parties will be collected on a list, and then be considered by the Coon Rapids City Council at the March 17, 2020 City Council meeting. Nominations as determined by the City Council, will then be forwarded on to the Anoka County Board of Commissioners, the entity that will make the final appointment.

If you are interested in being on the Board of Managers, email the City with your request by the deadline of 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020. Please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Brief description about why you would like to be on the board

To be considered for this position, you must be a Coon Rapids resident.

Coon Creek Watershed District is administered by a Board of Managers made up of 5 members. Each Manager serves a 3-year, staggered term.

The Board meets regularly on 2nd & 4th Mondays each month at 5:30 pm at the Watershed District Office at 13632 Van Buren St NE, Ham Lake, MN 55304.
