Car Seat Clinics are Back!

Car Seat Clinic

Car Seat Clinics have returned on a limited basis. Get tips from professionally trained car seat technicians to learn how to properly install your child's car seat. 

Two clinic dates are organized for October:
Thursday, October 15
Monday, October 26
Appointments are available between 4-7 p.m.

Sign up on the Police Department website.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, attendees must do the following:

  • Please limit attendees to 1 caregiver and 1 child
  • You must wear a face mask
  • Please do not attend any car seat clinic if you are exhibiting signs of illness

According to safety data, 4 out of 5 car seats are installed incorrectly! Get tips from professionally trained car seat technicians from the Coon Rapids Police and Fire Departments.

Car seat clinics are typically held on a monthly basis at the Coon Rapids Police Department, from 4-7 PM Please allow for 30 minutes per vehicle/seat. This free service is available by appointment to residents through Safe Kids Anoka County. Clinics take place in the garage behind the police department. Looking for other date/time options?
