Election Judges Needed
The City of Coon Rapids has a need for election judges to help out with the Special Election coming up on February 9, 2016. The Special Election is needed to fill a vacancy in Senate District 35. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Senator Branden Petersen, effective October 31, 2015. Senate District 35 is within precincts 1-1, 1-2, and 2-1 in the City of Coon Rapids, but you DO NOT have to reside in these precincts to be an election judge for this election. You do have to be a resident of Coon Rapids.

The special election Primary Election (if necessary) will be January 12, 2016 and the special election will be February 9, 2016. Absentee voting begins December 18, 2015 at City Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Precincts 1-1 and 1-2 will now vote at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office at 13301 Hanson Boulevard.
