Rabies Vaccination Clinic

The City of Coon Rapids is sponsoring the annual rabies vaccination clinic Saturday, May 7 from 1-3 p.m.
This event is designed to facilitate compliance with ordinances regarding dog licenses, cat registrations and rabies vaccinations. For more information click here.

Get tips from professionally trained car seat technicians from the Coon Rapids Police and Fire Departments at the car seat clinic Wednesday May 11 from 4-7 p.m. This free service is available by appointment only to Coon Rapids residents through Safe Kids Anoka County. 2016 Election Filings

Coon Rapids voters will have many choices to make this year for the 2016 election. Several elected positions will be on the ballot including four Coon Rapids City Council seats in Ward 1, 2, 4 and the At Large seat. If you are interested in running for the City Council, candidate filings begin Tuesday, May 17. The last day to file is May 31 and the last day to withdraw from the ballot is June 2. To file for candidacy, you must be a resident in the ward you want to represent and pay a $10 filing fee. For more information about Election Filing, visit the City website.

Movie in the Park

Family fun for everyone! The Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation and the City of Coon Rapids invite you to “Movie in the Park," Friday, May 27 at 8:30 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Soccer Complex featuring the movie 'Inside Out.' Family activities begin two hours prior to the movie. Activities include bouncers, balloon art, and face painting. Fees apply for activities. Concessions are also available for purchase. Bring a blanket and enjoy these FREE movies.
