Congratulations

In March, Matt Brown accepted the role of Community Development Director following the departure of Grant Fernelius.

Matt has a long and successful tenure with the City and was serving as interim director during the transition. Matt has built strong relationships with the Community Development department and City over the years and is highly respected by those who work with him. Congrats to Matt!

We have a WINNER!

Thank you to all staff who provided valuable input for our *NEW* Rocky the Raccoon mascot.

The final Rocky is a mix of all of the best features that you told us you liked!

Shhhh.... it is STILL a secret! Rocky won't be publicly unveiled until our annual 4th of July celebration, but if you'd like to see the final design, he is on display in the communications area (behind the City Hall reception desk).

Thanks for participating... Stop by for a peek!

PAYROLL TIP:

Tax Withholding Calculator

tax calculator

Check tax withholding now to avoid underpaying taxes.

The IRS reminds taxpayers who earn wages to use the Tax Withholding Estimator now to check if they need to adjust their 2023 withholding. People's tax situations occasionally change because of life changes such as marriage or divorce, adding a child or having one move out on their own.

Checking withholding now and making any necessary adjustments early in the year may help taxpayers avoid underpaying their taxes, which can result in having to make quarterly estimated tax payments in the future.
