Snowplowing Update

Snowplowing Update 11/23/16 & Winter Parking Reminder

Snowplow crews have been out since 4:30 a.m. clearing the City’s main roadways and crews are currently plowing neighborhood streets. Snowplows will continue to be out throughout the day. If the plow has not gone by yet on your neighborhood street, please make sure you are not parked in the roadway.

This is a good time to remind residents that winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 1 to April 1. Vehicles cannot be parked on the street between 2 am and 6 am. Parking is also prohibited on public streets anytime there is an accumulation of three inches of snow, or until the street has been plowed from curb-to-curb.

Another reminder regarding garbage cart placement: please remember to place your waste and recycling carts out of the roadway and behind the curb. This helps our snowplow drivers clean the streets from curb to curb.

Have a wonderful day!
