Snowplowing Update - Tuesday, January 10, 2017 - 10:30 a.m.
City snowplow crews have been out plowing main City roadways since early this morning. Crews are now entering into neighborhoods to do a full plowing of residential streets and cul-de-sacs in the city. This will take several hours to complete today. Crews will plow City sidewalks as soon as it is possible to do so based on plowing conditions.
Please do not have your car parked on the street, as it would be in violation of winter parking restrictions.
Winter parking reminder: Winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 1 to April 1. This means vehicles cannot be parked on the street anytime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Parking is also prohibited on public streets anytime there is an accumulation of three inches of snow, or until the street has been plowed from curb-to-curb.
Garbage and Recycling Cart placement: Please remember to place your garbage and recycling carts on your driveway, behind the curb, and not in the roadway. City Code requires this and it greatly helps our snowplow drivers clean the streets from curb-to-curb.
Our snowplow crews appreciate your cooperation and assistance as they work to clear roadways!
