Storm Damage Update Sunday, June 11, 2017 - 11:15 a.m.
Public Works crews report most storm damage is east of Hanson Boulevard. There are few reports of trees down, but significant hail has piled up in several areas and leaves/debris is clogging storm sewer drains in several areas. Crews are out with front-end loaders (and even a snowplow!) removing storm debris and will continue working today. Thanks for your patience as we work to clean up from the storm and thanks for calling any reports in to 911.Original message about Storm Damage Update 10:15 a.m.
If you are in an area with trees down on public streets, or flooding/pooling water in streets, please call 911 to report your concern. Public Works crews are out working to clean up damage in public areas.
If you have tree damage on private property, and are looking for resources to help, you can find a list of independent licensed tree contractors on our website. These contractors have shown current proof of liability insurance to the City, however, licensing is not a measure of a tree service’s knowledge and skill level. http://www.coonrapidsmn.gov/DocumentCenter/View/276
If you see power lines down or sparking, stay clear and call 911.
