Simple Recycling Ends in July

Textiles accepted at Coon Rapids Recycling Center

Simple Recycling, the company that collects household textiles at your curb, will end service in Coon Rapids on July 3. This free program collects about 4,500 pounds of recyclables in the orange curbside bags each month in Coon Rapids, but that amount falls short of Simple Recycling’s goal. The free service will remain available through the spring and early summer.

Although Simple Recycling services end July 3, residents can continue to recycle textiles at the Coon Rapids Recycling Center. A complete list of accepted items is on the city website. Another great way to recycle household goods is to donate items at local thrift stores.
