The Coon Rapids Ice Center offers private ice time for birthday parties, corporate team building events, and other special occasions. Imagine the indoor or outdoor ice sheet reserved just for your event! It’s possible with our easy and affordable rental program.
Our indoor ice sheet is designed to National Hockey League (NHL) regulation standards. The players box has custom audio capabilities. Fans can watch in comfort with radiant heat located above the bleachers. The ice sheet is also handicap accessible and is designed for adapted hockey.
The outdoor ice sheet is also built to NHL regulation standards, complete with dasher boards and outdoor lighting which makes for a fun night-time skating atmosphere. The outdoor ice is operated seasonally (approximately from mid-November to mid-March) and is one of few outdoor refrigerated ice sheets in the state!
